Easter
is one of our favorite holidays here at Warner's!
We love hosting our Annual Easter Egg Hunt and
Spring Festival, and it usually means that spring
is actually - finally - on it's way.
We've
got lots of exciting things going on in the
nursery; including our first shipments of shrubs
and natives arriving soon. We have lots of Warner
Grown flowers and veggies in stock as well; many
of which can be planted now.
This
time of year, we get a lot of customers wanting to
plant tulips or daffodils or other early bloomers
that are starting to emerge. The bad news is,
these bulbs have to be planted in the fall, so
it's too late for this year. We like to talk
about bulbs now, though, while they're fresh on
everyone's mind and it's time to start planning
for your summer blooming bulbs. Check out this
week's feature article, written by guest
author Lindsay

Bulbs.
The mere thought of that word would send my
mother running. To me those
little orbs were like gems hidden in a treasure
chest, just waiting to be discovered in the
spring. I have worked here at Warner's for quite
a few seasons now, and many of the customers
that I have spoken with have about the same
reaction as my mother did. What is it about
bulbs that intimidate people so much? Well, I'm
not exactly certain, but hopefully this article
might help unravel some of their complexities.
